Prayer is the greatest and most unused resource a Christian has. Jesus said in Matthew 21:13, “My house shall be called the house of prayer…” At The Baptist Tabernacle, we believe in the power of prayer. We still come together in prayer at the altar at the beginning of each Sunday night service. We also have various other intercessory prayer meetings every week and throughout the month. D.L. Moody said, "Every great movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure." We long to see God do something great and powerful in our nation in these last days in which we live.
Many people from all over the country send us prayer requests knowing that we will intercede on their behalf. We are a praying church and we want to pray for you. If you have a prayer request that you would like listed, please contact us
with the name(s). For your privacy, we will not list any reasons, specifics or conditions of prayer. God knows the need; all we have to do is lift up the name. Our prayer list is updated weekly.
