Arise and Build!
The Baptist Tabernacle thanks the Lord as we endeavor to build a new multi-purpose facility that will enable us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the community around us. We've named this facility The R. Hudson Moody Christian Heritage Center in honor of the founding Pastor Emeritus Dr. Hudson Moody who had a vision to start The Baptist Tabernacle in 1964. He and his wife have poured their life into this ministry of serving the Lord. This facility, when completed, will have a full-court basketball area, changing rooms, classrooms, rooms for visiting pastors or missionaries and their families to stay as they pass through the area. Nehemiah 4:6 says "So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work." We at the Tabernacle share that same desire - "the people had a mind to work."
