Our Youth At The Baptist Tabernacle

"When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of correction are the ways of life."

- Proverbs 6:22-23

Brant and Christann Sweat

The Baptist Tabernacle is blessed to have Bro. Brant and Christann Sweat on staff as Youth Director. They take a personal interest in the teens here at TBT. Their dedication to serving the Lord in the Youth Ministry is vital to the success of our church. They guide and direct our youth in the ways of the Lord that will help give them a solid foundation in a world that wants to steer them down the wrong paths.

We all know that our youth are our future. The goal of the Life Compass Student Ministry of The Baptist Tabernacle is to help cultivate a young community of ministry servants who have a sincere love and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We have Sunday School classes for High School and Middle School, Teen Visitation, ministry opportunities youth activities, camps and retreats that are all geared to assist parents with the awesome responsibility of raising the next generation of Christians. The Baptist Tabernacle encourages young people to get involved in "adult" ministries at an early age. The Youth Ministry sponsors regular fundraisers to lessen the financial burden that can occur with an extremely active youth program. Support of these fundraisers benefits the entire church. This year's major events include the Ski Retreat in February, Summer camp at The Wilds in June and an all-night youth lock-in in October.
