MINISTRY
1. At The Baptist Tabernacle, we believe that the people make up the church.
Without the people, there would just be a building. This is where the Bus
Ministry is very important to God's plan; to see souls saved and lives changed
for the cause of Christ. Our prayer, by God's divine Will, is that we reach
people small and great, weak and strong, lost and undone to come to know Christ
through the bus ministry. We believe it offers more than just a free ride to
church . . . it offers an opportunity to see people of all ages come to know why
church is the most important destination, and that's God's love. Scripture says,
"And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the
highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled"
- Luke 14:23.
With this, it is our desire to go out and bring the community in to the Lord's
house, where love and caring children of God worship together. If direction is
what you need in your life, The Baptist Tabernacle's Bus Ministry will take you
to the Lord.
2. At The Baptist Tabernacle, we believe that kids are the future of America. In these times, kids are more vulnerable to the dangers of sin in this world than ever before. In the bus ministry, it is our prayer and determination to bring these children into a place where truth, love, and fun abound, and God's Word is taught. Whether it be arts and crafts, songs and poems, games and activities, or bubble gum... there's many ways that a child can learn about the Lord and how to live a life according to Christ. The bus ministry is devoted to go out into the local community to bring these children into God's house. We pray the future of our church's love, leadership, ministries, and teachings are in the lives and hearts of the bus ministry children, all for the cause of Christ. Without Jesus Christ, children will never find true morals, love, care, and salvation . . . so it is with our prayer and hope that we bring them in by way of our bus ministry.
